This is a dish that any meat-lovers would like. This recipe is so easy, healthier than your average deep-fried chicken, and can be made a day in advance. Perfect for parties, get-togethers, or a late-night snack or meal. It’s a versatile dish that can’t go wrong (unless if you’re vegetarian or vegan. Sorry).
Ingredients:
12 cloves garlic, peeled and minced
¼ cup tablespoons honey
¼ cup tablespoons Dijon mustard
2 tablespoon soy sauce (or tamari for a gluten-free substitute)
1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
¼ cup neutral oil (almond or grapeseed oil)
2 teaspoons salt
2 teaspoon black pepper
Approx. 1 pound chicken wing drummettes
Directions:
In a large bowl, mix in garlic, honey, dijon mustard, and soy sauce. Add in oil, salt, and pepper and mix until incorporated.
Lightly rinse and pat dry the wings. Then add into the bowl. Make sure all wings are covered in the sauce. Let it sit in the fridge for at least 20 minutes to 24 hours.
In a 350°F oven, lay the wings flat on a baking tray with a sheet. Cook for 20 minutes or until the wings reached an internal temperature of 165°F. Cool for 5 minutes then serve.
