My dad loves shrimp. That is his main comfort food and that kind of rubbed off on me. This recipe is normally amazing, but to make this even more delicious, I made a few modern tweaks. Add butter, lemon and garlic, it has a creamy taste with a light and sharp aftertaste.
Ingredients:
1/3 cup butter, divided
4 cloves garlic, chopped
800g shrimp, peeled, devenied and tail on
1/4 cup chicken broth
Juice of a lemon
Black pepper to taste
2 tablespoons of fresh or dried parsley
Directions:
In a large frying pan over medium-high heat, melt 2 tablespoons of butter. Once melted, add garlic and cook until golden brown. Add shrimp and make sure that it’s evenly coated with butter.
Add chicken broth and remaining butter. Let it simmer for 5-7 minutes. Season lemon juice, black pepper. Serve with parsley.
